ASTE & The Environment 

We have in place an Integrated Management System and hold certification from the British Standards Institute against BS EN ISO 9002: 1994. We insist upon full compliance, from our associates, to our Management System. Our certificate of registration with BSI bears the reference number FS 61087.

We ensure that all projects are given meticulous detailed attention throughout all project phases. Work is kept under constant review through a documented Plan-Do-Review process.

 
Drugs & Alcohol

This statement sets out the policy of ASTE Rail Ltd. in respect of any employee or contractor whose proper performance of their duties is or may be impaired as a result of drinking alcohol or taking drugs.  It is supported by the Railtrack 3000 Series Rule Book, Railway Group Standards, Railtrack Company Standards, ASTE Rail Ltd’s Drugs and Alcohol procedure, and other related procedures.

ASTE Rail Ltd. has taken into account the Transport and Works Act 1992.  Provided that employees adhere to the provisions of this Policy they will normally be able to demonstrate compliance with the Act.

 
Safety Training and Induction Requirements

Company management are committed to a policy of continual improvement.  In line with this policy we recognise the benefits of operating our business in accordance with the requirements BS EN ISO 9001:2000.
